Nemesis is one of the bulkiest units to enter the series thus far with his incredible HP and Defenses. You would be hard-pressed to bring him all the way down without the help of mastery skills. It also helps that he has access to Renewal, which with his 114 HP, gives him 11 HP regen each turn making his survivability amazing. His only glaring weakness is his low speed which makes him susceptible to mastery skills and raw damage from units that can double him. On the offensive side of things, he has amazing Str and Skill, along with Insight, making it so he packs a punch with great accuracy. He also has access to his weapon from Three Houses, the Dark Creator Sword, which is essentially a more accurate Alondite without the Defense boost. This gives him an accurate weapon from range which is sorely lacking from the sword users. Speaking of sword users, even though Nemesis is in the Vanguard class, I decided to not allow him to use axes since he doesn’t use them in the final chapter of Verdant Wind. All the skills that give him his great survivability are Renewal, as mentioned before, Cancel, for negating the enemies’ turns on his turn, and Parity, which helps him stay away from mastery skills along with confirming the kills on the Miracle/Pavise users. Although, I did find myself not using Parity as often as I would have expected. One, because he was so slow that he didn’t have the chance to use it. Two, because when he uses it, it disables the effects of Insight which I didn’t know at first. Other than that, he also got the minimum boost that he gets from his Mighty King of Legend Skill, +3 to all stats.

Cancel: From one of the effects of the Crest of Flames.
Renewal: He gets the skill in Three Houses.
Insight: Translated from Heartseeker which he gets in Three Houses.
Parity: Translated from Commander which he gets in Three Houses.
+3 to all stats: From Mighty King of Legend. I only gave him the minimum boost from it.

Hit: 90%
Mt: 17
Crit: 0%
I gave it a +1 to Mt as I did with Byleth’s Sublime Creator Sword, just to keep it consistent.
I used Ike’s Vanguard Model for him since Nemesis is bulky like Ike’s model. Ike was able to use Aether whereas Nemesis could not.

The unit with the higher base speed will initiate first. (If unit has Shade or Stillness they will always choose who goes first). If both units have the same speed, the unit whose video it is will go first.
For weapons, the unit who is faster chooses the weapon they want the unit they are attacking gets to choose a weapon to counter them with. The unit who attacks first, goes through all the possible weapon combinations and picks whatever situation would give them the best chance at victory. After the initial turn, the only time a unit can change their weapon is on their turn.
