Reyson, along with the other herons in the series, is given some extra bonuses in this series to help them out with not just being roadkill against a majority of the other units. The main thing that was given to them was extra Card weapons, in addition to being able to double units in certain situations. If you're curious about the effects of the cards, take a look at the ASF Info link below in the description, but I'll briefly go over it in this description. The Reaper Card is a crit card with less Mt, and the Spectre Card has Mt in between the Reaper and Daemon Cards but has a secondary effect of "If unit can double opponent, unit doubles right away." To balance this out somewhat, it is kind of a gamble because the hit rate on the Card, 40%, is extremely low. But against some of the lower avoid units in the series, this doesn't pose too much of an issue. The way that the doubling works for Herons is that if they can double the unit and the unit cannot counterattack at 2 range, the heron can double with whatever card they want. He and the other herons also have a lot better of a time with initiating because all of their Lck stats are quite high. So, that, along with being able to potentially double and/or use the Spectre/Reaper Card for burst damage makes them a bigger threat in this series. Now, getting to Reyson's build, he is the fastest, most skilled, and most physically defensive heron out of the three in the series but also has the lowest magic, which can make some of his fights very difficult to win. But because he has the good Def and Ok Spd, he does not get one-rounded as much as the others, which lets him attack more often. And with access to the Spectre/Reaper Card, he can deal a ton of damage if he survives the opposition's combats. But because of the low Mag compared to the other herons, anyone with a serviceable Res stat completely walls him, even if he can survive multiple combats against them barring no mastery skill procs.
