As it turns out, the White - Amrep MSL no longer does recycling here.. to my surprised it is done by this truck instead! Burrtecs *other* HX450 "Elliptical" ASL. This truck is neat because its (what I believe to be) one of only 2 "elliptical" ASLs in all of Burrtecs fleets, but it's also a diesel. After looking closely at the bins, it doesn't look like they've been dumped by an ASL more than 2,, maybe 3 times before this so I'm assuming it is a very recent change. One that I am surprisingly okay with.
*edit* Since writing this, I've been told that they are automating recycling and greens here, so I'd assume carts will be given out in the future.
A unique truck with a unique sound on a unique recycling route :D
This truck also does greenwaste for the whole town in the morning before coming back to do recycling. Only a small fraction of the residents actually have carts here, the rest use manual bins of their own. So this route is, for the most part, a full day of collecting nothing but manual bins with an ASL. I think that is pretty cool.
