Here's a hauler that hasn't had much face time on Youtube yet. Anderson Rubbish is a company I've been interested in getting on film for quite some time now. And while out in the area, Scott and I finally got around to doing just that.
This company is unique in that they've been buying Mack products for many years, and in the Los Angeles area, that is actually a significant fact. Only recently has Mack grown in popularity in these parts, so seeing these older Macks run by someone other than WM is quite cool. Another thing about this truck in particular, is that it is actually quite entertaining to watch. Its quick, it doesn't squeeze carts, it flips lids fast, yet it remains smooth. And if you're really observant, you may notice that it's largely due to the newer generation arm that has been put on this truck (and all their others, aside from their 2 "rail arm" WhiteGMC's).
You'll also see one clip on a newer Mack LEU Amrep Hardox in this video, however I did not film any more of that truck (yet?). Maybe for another time :D
Much like GI/WM in the nearby cities, blue carts are actually for garbage. For the longest time I'd assumed they were recycling like darn near everywhere else, but that's not the case.
