The Passenger Express 56 is a new Austal design delivering superior performance, seakeeping and a unique customer experience.
The 35 knot vessel is capable of carrying 680 passengers and has an optimised hull form designed to minimise fuel consumption and wake wash.
Passenger comfort is paramount to the design with a luxuriously appointed interior with reclining leather seating in all three classes of accommodation.
The vessel has enhanced passenger accessibility (including an elevator between passenger decks), a programmable, energy-efficient LED lighting system and large windows offering expansive views throughout the cabin. Two exterior passenger decks offer an outdoor experience for FRS customers travelling the popular River Elbe route between Helgoland and the Port of Hamburg.
