So Byron from @downtheshedwithbyron thought is would better to give Dan an experience rather than paying for the seats that he organised for the Max Pinjarra event for the Big Fellas car. So he built Dan a Angry Minion to race in the Dem Derby at Mount Barker Speedway on the 27th of April 2024. This is going to be fun.
Big Shout to Byron for getting the dem derby car ready for the event, thank you so much. We pick the Minion up at headed top Mount Barker Speedway, which is about four and half hours from Perth. There was 26 cars in the Derby and 8 of them were part of Minion Crew. So our chances are high for sure. We had @AutomotiveKarnage @downtheshedwithbyron @AussieGarage and @BADQ heading to the event to race and to film, plus Byron invited a few boys from the South Australia Derby Demo scene to come over as well.
The idea of this Derby Demo is to take out the Police Cars and your competitors at the same time and be the last one stand to win. Dan is driving the Angry Minion which is a Toyota Starlet and he started the race well But the strength of the Toyota Camrys got him. He got some great hits in and caved the front of car completely in. DJ once again had the longest running car out of the Minion crew and ended up being third for the event. There was so many good hits.
