The packaging is attractive and includes essential accessories like a remote control (batteries not included), a quick start guide, a warranty card, and a user manual. The projector’s design is sleek, available in gold or black, with a magnetic cloth cover for the speakers. It also includes multiple ports for connectivity, a volume dial with illumination, and height-adjustable feet with a tripod mount.
The projector delivers good picture quality up from 60" - 300” and features vibrant colors, especially in animated content. It has 500 ANSI Lumens of brightness, best suited for dark rooms or outdoor use in pitch-black conditions. The projector offers several preconfigured display modes, although standard, sport, and user modes are preferred due to better color balance. While the projector is responsive and easy to navigate, the selection of apps is somewhat limited but covers major streaming services. Fan noise can be a downside, operating around 55-60 decibels, so placing the projector farther away is advisable.
The built-in speakers provide decent audio quality and are best used with the back panel off for better sound. For enhanced audio, connecting Bluetooth speakers is recommended. The Aurzen Boom 3 is an excellent entry-level projector, ideal for family gatherings or home use, especially if the projection size stays within 120”.
