I went with their 80% blackout zebra shades for both my office and bedroom, and the difference in style and function was immediately noticeable. The shades come with a quiet motor, a simple remote, and compatibility with Google Assistant, Alexa, Siri, and Apple HomeKit. They're also backed by a 3-year warranty, with the option to extend it to 5 years.
The build quality is solid, and the design adds a clean, polished look to any room. I especially liked the graphite color in my office—it brought a nice contrast compared to the basic white roller shade I had before. The dual-layer design lets you filter in light or darken the room depending on how the stripes align, and while it’s not a true blackout, it’s been perfect for my needs. There’s some light leakage from the sides and small gaps between fabric strips, but Beasen offers optional sun blocker inserts to help with that. Installation was straightforward, even for the large 70-inch shade in my bedroom. Mounting the remote holder was easy too—though I do wish the design looked a bit more refined.
