Aurora 7 was the fourth Project Mercury human spaceflight. Astronaut Scott Carpenter was assigned to fly the mission.
This is a compilation of silent film clips showing delivery and preparation of the spacecraft, as well as training by Carpenter.
At about the 8:00 minute mark, the film in our archive was sped up. We tried to correct to what appeared to be a more accurate speed, but you will notice that starting at the eight-minute mark the video is less smooth. The uncorrected version is at youtube.com/watch?v=dw9I6H0AZdg.
