I encountered THE BIGGEST PASTY I'VE EVER SEEN while visiting Sonson's Pasty Company in Mesa, Arizona. Sonson's is known for their authentic Cornish pasties, a traditional British baked pastry that the owners have brought to the area from Cornwall, England, where one of the owners originally lived for over 30 years! However, for this adventure, I'm looking to take on their giant 5 pound pasty challenge!
And remember, it's a "pass-tee" and not a "pay-stee" 😉

Challengers have 1 hour to finish this big British pasty. This Cornish pasty is filled with your choice of protein (beef, chicken, ground beef, or pork sausage), rutabaga, onion, cheese, and potatoes. You must also finish a one pound cup of gravy served with the pasty too!
