DARTHVR | Atomic Heart: 4K gameplay with ray tracing patch (max settings) RTX 4090 @DARTHVRNET | Uploaded June 2024 | Updated October 2024, 19 minutes ago.

Almost an hour of gameplay of the beginning (excluding the initial gondola ride) testing Atomic Heart, one of the most unique, strange and controversial FPS of recent years. Released last year, despite being initially advertised with support for ray tracing, the game came out without it, until now, they have just released a patch with which to finally enable ray tracing, although in beta status yet. So because of this I test the game with the graphics options that I show at the beginning. Everything to the maximum including the ray tracing, and with DLSS in quality mode.

You can see in the statistics how it runs on my PC with an i9-13900K, RTX 4090 and 64GB of RAM (game running on a SSD WD_BLACK SN850X), according to the counter runs at 60 fps most of the time (Vsync enabled and playing on a 60 hz monitor), the strange thing is that it does not seem like that, the game does not give a smooth feeling, and with some heavy stuttering at times. I guess being the ray tracing in beta, they still have to tune it. The ray tracing is especially noticeable in the reflections of many surfaces.
