Past the breathtaking Japanese garden you’ll find the entrance to the Dorothy Chapman Conservatory – a 16,000 square feet exhibit of more than 1,000 species. The Children’s garden features whimsical sculptures, fountains, educational exhibits and plenty of unforgettable and Instragramable sights.
Piedmont Park: Just 4 miles north of downtown Atlanta is the city’s most-visited green space with courts and fields for tennis, baseball, soccer, volleyball, and basketball. It houses Atlanta’s largest dog park and dog training recreational areas. Bank of America Plaza: Completed after only 14 months of construction, the Bank of America Plaza is the tallest building in any state capital and 16th tallest building in the U.S. Its peak holds a 90-feet tall obelisk spire plated in 23-karat gold. The 55 stories below make up 1.3 million square feet and contain a health club, salon, and food hall. After the great recession caused foreclosure in 2016, the new owners installed high-tech office spaces to revitalize the landmark.
