Pete and Omar tour Astro Hunters VR on Meta Quest, a brand-new multiplayer extraction shooter launching today from Wanadev. Across five-plus hours they've found a colourful No Man's Sky-adjacent world with decent spatial audio, proximity voice chat, randomly generated loot runs and a smart permadeath drop-ship loop that forces real tension over every sniper rifle you pull from a crate. The inventory system is a menu-buried chore, grenades go unused because you can't reach them fast, and sniper rifles may wreck PvP balance — but the whole is genuinely more than the sum of its parts. Promising start.
