UNDERDOGS is a physics-based VR mech brawler roguelike on Meta Quest, dropped into underground arena fights in New Brakka with gorilla-tag style arm movement, destructible cockpits, and over a hundred weapons and add-ons to bolt on run to run. Between fights, three randomised events push you through scavenge, hustle and shop decisions that can make or break a build. Pete gushes throughout a pre-launch hands-on, calling it outstanding and one of his most anticipated VR games ever. Not a scored review, but as close to a blind buy as First Impressions gets.
