This was my first time speaking in Medicine Hat! I had such a fun day speaking and teaching frisbee to 160 students from Kindergarten to Grade 6. In the assembly I shared messages about physical literacy, resiliency, kindness, and setting better limits on screen time. I closed out the assembly by giving the entire school The Kindness Challenge. I had some great questions from the students and some great conversations generated from my challenge.
During the workshops, I taught them all about frisbee including throwing and catching, disc golf, freestyle, creating throws, and inventing games.
