On 19 March, ASPI and the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace hosted a special event on the US-Australia alliance. The event explored how the US-Australia alliance is adapting to a deteriorating global strategic environment, as well as how it can and needs to evolve to address new and emerging threats.
Panellists included Ami Bagia, ASPI Senior Fellow; Evan A. Feigenbaum, Vice President for Studies at the Carnegie Endowment; Courtney Stewart, Senior Managing Consultant at OCRT; Peter Tesch, ASPI Senior Fellow and Visiting Fellow at the ANU Centre for European Studies and Professor Stephan Frühling from ANU’s Strategic and Defence Studies Centre – co-authors of the new Carnegie report ‘Alliance Future: Rewiring Australia and the United States’.
