Join Stan Gedzelman as he discusses art in the atmosphere, and his book, The Soul of All Scenery: A History of the Sky in Art. Stan illustrates how artists have portrayed clouds, storms, and atmospheric optical phenomena (e. g., rainbows and sky colors) from the Ice Age to the present. Learn how the artists' portrayals of the atmosphere were influenced by the weather and climate they experienced (including the Little Ice Age), but also by the times in which they lived.
