Paft of my art-making process is incorporating things I find while I'm out and about in the world, and rust is my favorite of those things. Today, I was working in a dusty old attic, and there were so many gorgeous rusted objects all around. They each seemed to have their own histories and just a beautiful, abstract aesthetic. I love being a working artist.
