I like to take my time, like exploring and testing stuff. Also, it's the first time I'm playing through this game.

If you know what you are doing, you can rush through it in like 30 mins or less. If you use the various glitches, it can be done in like 15 mins. I could, even for my first time, gotten through it in like 1 hour.

Recorded from the left eye, as that's the one I aimed with. I wanted you to see what I see, down the sniper scope etc. Annoying when I checked some gameplay footage from others where they recorded from the other eye. You can select which eye to record from on both Oculus and SteamVR side.

Aiming is a bit off in this game. I've played a lot of shooters, and H3VR is one of my favorites. Aiming is always on point in that game, same with most other ones. I've even used weapons IRL (firing range ofc).

Kinda low res/pixelated as it was recorded through one lens, and the native resolution is like 1080x1200, which was cropped down to be 16:9. I'll probably keep closer to native res in future VR videos, but will be a lot of black on the sides then if viewed on a 16:9 display, but should look sharper and less pixelated. Still upped in 1440p tho :)

Things run really great/smooth with TPCast and 4 sensors. Most "hiccups" you might see is probably just from loading, stepping on small things (rocks, steps, etc). Although, the recording is not as smooth as I experienced it in the game. It's recorded in 60fps and each frame is unique, but it's not smooth. Dunno if that's because it streams at 90fps and captured in 60, or if the CPU/GPU couldn't cope. Will do some tests before I record another VR game.

I messed one thing up. Apparently "LOD Quality" in options was the drawing distance. I left it at the default 100 (goes up to 200). As it was called "quality", I had no idea it was for the drawing distance, LOL. So, yeah, things will pop up in the near distance, which is kinda annoying. I did try to find out what it did prior to recording (even Googled), but didn't see a difference in the quality of anything (only looked around in the cave without going out), so yeah, no idea it was for distance. The rest was at max settings tho.

I kinda feel like I should redo the whole playthrough now, but meh, too lazy.
