Here's are a few quick sample clips from my Arizona lightning shoot and workshop. Shot with the Sony FS700 at 240fps. Each clip in the sequence is a single lightning strike that would appear as a single or maybe double flash to the naked eye, but as you can see in the video the super slow mo of the FS700 breaks it down into several separate flashes and bolts of lightning, some of which take a while to fade away. Shame about the rolling shutter. Once I get home I'll be able to clean up most of the worst flash band artifacts by offsetting the flashes banded frames by 1 frame and doing a blend between the offset frame and the original.
