What started as a simple trip to the barber turned into one of those unforgettable days that perfectly captures why we love travelling in India.
After an unexpected haircut disaster, we wandered through the streets of Mysore, met some incredibly friendly locals, learnt a little Kannada, enjoyed amazing filter coffee and finished the day with one of the biggest (and tastiest!) biryanis we've had in India.
Everywhere we go, people stop to say hello, share a smile, offer advice or simply make us feel welcome.
It really got me thinking...
