Christmas just isn’t Christmas without a good mince pie — and mince pies just aren’t the same without proper homemade sweet mincemeat.
This year I’m bringing you my updated mincemeat recipe: rich, fruity, zesty, and honestly miles better than anything in a jar.
We’re talking plump dried fruits, real citrus zest, warm Christmas spices, traditional suet, soft brown sugar and that classic finishing splash of brandy. Slow-cooked, glossy, fragrant… the sort of mincemeat that transforms a mince pie into something luxury.
