We’ve been hearing about Apple’s foray into more affordable devices with a potentially sub $700 MacBook on the way, but what compromises will have to be made, is it worth it, and will Apple just stop at a MacBook…?
What I love the most about this concept is that I’ve been basically suggesting it for the entirety of my time on YouTube. And in fact, what I was suggesting, Apple releasing a Mac mini that’s back down to its original launch price of $499 has been getting closer, in fact as that was in 2005, that would be $828 in 2025 dollars. For the incredible performance of M4 in a Mac mini, it’s just $599.
