The Utah Cultural Site Stewardship Program’s incredible volunteers recently spent a day recording a historic site with over 50 structures and even more artifacts! This is just one of UCSS’ many projects with our land managing partners like the Vernal BLM field office. Projects like these allow stewards to both get involved in real-life archaeology, help land managers with projects that require extra hands, and further connect them with the landscapes and human stories. If you’re interested in being involved, visit our website at ushpo.utah.gov
