Now that April Fools has passed, I have decided to reveal that this ultra shortcut is actually fake.

If you are wondering about my actual thoughts on the likelihood of a GCN Mario Circuit ultra shortcut, I would say it is very unlikely, as there is still no easy way to get OOB next to the line, and not much to do to actually cut off the corner. I just decided to go with it for this video as it is a lesser talked about track, and was the easiest to fake a convincing ultra shortcut with.

First of all, sorry for the bad audio quality, I was under a time crunch to get this video uploaded so I wasnt able to rerecord it. Anyway though, this is probably my favorite track Ive made yet, as it was my first time using both vertex colors and custom animations. It started out as a joke track where I then realized it had a ton of potential, so I decided to go all out and open the season strong! As school is starting soon for me, I am not sure if I will be able to participate in any of the other jams this season or just work on tracks in general. I do plan to take a short break for at least a week though to get used to the new workflow. Either way I am still working on all of the projects I have mentioned previously, so stay on the lookout for all of those tracks soon too!")

I experienced some massive delays getting this video up so the track should already be available on the CT Wiiki. Also, the track ended up placing 4th out of 8, making it the first time Ive finished in the top half of a jam!")
