Developed by students in the spring 2021 AR/VR Capstone Class, at UW CSE.

A VR app to experience the moon as an Apollo 15 astronaut. Your goal is to complete 3 missions: place the flag, collect important lunar samples to send back to earth, and explore the moon’s surface with your cool whip: the lunar roving vehicle. Experience a day as an Apollo astronaut, learn about the historic event, and complete missions to advance the understanding of space and make history!

The AR/VR Capstone Class, at UW CSE (University of Washington's Allen School of Computer Science & Engineering) is an intensive 10-week class introducing students to AR/VR, WebXR tools, and to developing software apps as a team for AR (Magic Leap) and VR (Oculus Quest). Students also heard talks on different aspects of AR/VR from faculty and guest speakers (tinyurl.com/RealityLabLectures).
