I work in film and audio by profession and came across this rare interview with Richard D. James that had so much great content but the recording sounded like they did it inside of a running microwave so it was a horrendous ordeal trying to understand what they were saying. So in my spare time I used some the same techniques I use when editing film and adverts when clients give me really bad audio. I also added some visuals to make the interview slightly more interesting if you want to feel like he is talking back to you directly.
I also transcribed for closed captions which is mostly accurate. With the thick accents some words were harder than others to decipher. Feel free to suggest any corrections and I will update them.
He takes about owning tanks, pissing himself, dreaming about submarines, the software he uses, musical interests, hiring his friends, video game habits alongside just a bunch of great insight into his mind overall.
