Apache Solutions is coming to San Diego. Tim Kelly and his cadre are running three classes over one weekend, September 4 to 6, and one of them is not a shooting class at all.

Kids, Guns & Reality: An Honest Conversation with Tim Kelly
6:00 to 8:00 PM at P2K Sports, El Cajon. 2 hours, $50.
Tim wrote Your World Is Not a Gun-Free Zone. This is a lecture, an open conversation and a book signing on raising kids in a home and a world with guns. How to talk to them in an age-appropriate way without overexplaining, and how to have the harder conversation with your kids' friends' parents.
Even if there is no gun in your house, your kid is going on play dates in houses where there is one.
SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 5
Full Spectrum Pistol Metrics
9:00 AM to 5:30 PM in Alpine. 8 hours, $275.
Measure your skills. Shoot faster, shoot straighter. Work from concealment or outside the waistband. A real foundation whether you are heading toward competition or you just want to be more confident with the gun you already carry.
SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 6
EDC Defensive Pistol Course
9:00 AM to 5:30 PM in Alpine. 8 hours, $275.
The standard Apache Solutions trains to. Drawing efficiently from concealment, proper presentation, clearing malfunctions under stress, shooting from unconventional positions, verbalization and de-escalation, and integrating less lethal options.
