Someone chalked "Another World is Possible" on the open streets of 34th Avenue in Queens, where NYC DOT and Mayor de Blasio have taken a 9 block closure in Jackson Heights and have extended it to 1.3 miles in length from 69th to Junction Blvd.

I live right off this avenue and for the first time I can walk down my street to the avenue and go 10+ blocks in either direction. It is insane, awesome, surreal and beautiful all at the same time.
