Anne Flentje is the winner of the 2024 Chancellor Diversity Award for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer and Intersex Leadership in the Faculty category. Director of the UCSF Alliance Health Project, Dr. Flentje is recognized for advocating for research that aims better understand the biological impact that discrimination has on the LGBTQIA+ community and by building a coalition of people working together toward solutions.
