Normally, when you get access to the Happy Home Handbook, you can only learn one new lesson each day. Meaning you would have to take on a job and advance the day before you could learn a new lesson. This is usually fine, but some people want to unlock everything before advancing the story. Thankfully, the game built in a loop-around to this. If you go to your desk and bring up the menu, you can finish work early for the day. This has no repercussions and can be as many times in a row as you want; so, you can learn a lesson from the Handbook, advance the time a day, then learn another lesson. Rinse and repeat.
