Hello and welcome to GamerU tips and tricks for Stormblades for the iPad.
When at first you don’t succeed, try and try again. There are plenty of times that this has been said. It fits fairly well into this next point which is that you should always try your best on each level.
In a nutshell, that means trying to improve your score until you can achieve three Relics on each and every level. In order to do that, you have to score at least 3,000 points during the level. That can be difficult at first, but thankfully, there are some ways to improve this.
These different score improvements include Armor Break, Power Strike, Flawless Fights as well as bonuses for the type of kill and the your health.
An Armor Break bonus is achieved by breaking the enemy’s armor. Seems simple enough. Each piece of armor takes a few strikes to break and will earn you an extra 20 points each. Removing all the armor will add a few extra points into the mix as well.
Power Strikes are accomplished by responding and striking in response to blue arrows that pop up on the screen from time to time. Not only will these attacks deal more damage than the average attack, but landing these strikes will increase your score little by little.
If you manage to make it through a fight without taking any damage, you would manage to get the Flawless fight bonus which would add an extra 100 points to your overall score.
The best way to finish off a fight other than Flawless is to finish it perfect. This can be accomplished if you finish a fight quickly with some strong combos and critical attacks. If you manage it, you can get an extra 200 points. If not, you may still get score bonuses for a Good or Amazing fight too.
The last chance you have to gain a bonus is when you reach the final boss battle. This bonus depends on your health when the battle is over so the higher your health the higher the bonus and the higher your score.
These are the main ways that you can improve your chances of earning three Relics per level. While it may take some time, once you get used to achieving the different bonuses, you can manage to get them all each fight and each level and little by little become the best around.
