Welcome to GamerU’s guide to the Songcraft skillset in ArcheAge, a specialization for those who want to support their fellow players in groups, small or large, with powerful buffs generated through music and their special Performance mechanic.
While Songcraft abilities aren’t as powerful at healing as some of the more dedicated healing skillsets, such as Vitalism, they can generate buffs through Performances that increase in power over time. Most Songcraft abilities will cancel a Performance skill, but Performance skills themselves can be stacked for significantly impactful results.
As far as combos, Songcraft users can inflict the charm effect on opponents through the use of some of their abilities, such as Startling Strain. Charmed opponents can be hit with other Songcraft abilities for further bonus effects and are susceptible to the negative effects of certain Performances as well.
