BrianMp16 | Animal Crossing: Gamcube GCM/ISO Modding - Custom Text, Textures, Palettes, and NES Games @BrianMp16 | Uploaded 7 years ago | Updated 12 hours ago
Over the last week, Moolah60 and I have worked together opening the remaining files in both the AC:GC and DnMe+ GCMs/ISOs. He has written a number of programs to open, edit, and modify the binary files that contain images. I show off a custom wallpaper and carpet I made. I also show off a quick palette mod for the face and Work Uniform (I always thought the Work Uniform needed a sleeker design). I also added a custom NES Game, Metroid, by overriding Wario's Woods. And finally, I show off the current translation progress of Dobutso no Mori e+ that Moolah60 has been working on.
To view our current work regarding offset data, see our google spreadsheet:

Throughout the video, I demonstrate the modding process and how you can make your own Animal Crossing GC/DnMe+ mods. Then to tie it all together, I show how to repackage and compress the modded files into a complete GCM/ISO to play on both console and emulator.
The modding potential of Animal Crossing is unlimited within the constraints of Gamecube hardware limitations. It's no longer a question of if something can be done, but a question of how long or how difficult will it be to do.
I want to emphasize the incredible work Moolah60 has put into AC modding this last week. I couldn't have done it all without him. We will continue to expand from here.
Tonight I will prepare a list of and download links for all the programs I used in this video.
