HESPERIDES (2021) is an original song composed by Lina Palera, a world-renowned lyre player. She performed on her custom ancient lyre, masterfully handcrafted by the LUTHIEROS family in Greece.
The melody was named after Hesperides (ancient Greek: Ἑσπερίδες), the nymphs of evening and golden light of sunsets, who were the "Daughters of the Evening" or "Nymphs of the West" according to the Greek mythology. They were also known as Atlantides from their reputed father, the Titan Atlas.
The video session took place in Thessaloniki, Greece, where we have witnessed a magnificent sunset near the end of September 2021.

She has an extensive discography as a guitar player and a vocalist. “Aurora” is her first music album dedicated solely to the ancient lyre and the emotions it can evoke.
