Lithuanian National Symphony Orchestra conducted by Juozas Domarkas
Anatolijus Šenderovas (1945-2019) was a Lithuanian composer. Although his works often featured modernist techniques, Šenderovas' approach to composition was highly polystylistic, incorporating both developments in the present and evocations of the past. This symphony is an early work, written when the composer was in his early twenties; I believe the recording is from an old CD released by a German label sometime after Lithuania's restoration of independence in 1990, although I am not 100 percent sure of the details.
