I wrote the lyrics to "An Octopus Ate My Pickup Truck" because I couldn't see myself not doing that. I used some digital technology to produce the song. *Salute and respect to artists who don't need any variety of digital help to output what's in their head.*
If you get your own copy all your friends will be either happy for you or insanely jealous:

Lyrics:
An octopus ate my pickup truck.
And now I feel just like a shmuck.
That isn’t all, there’s more
My favorite shoes were on the floor.
My eight tracks were inside, you bet
So now they’re all quite soaking wet.
How come this sort of thing happens to me?
My headlights, they had both gone black
I ran into a railroad track
Went off the road without a crash
Instead there was a great big splash
Then my pickup truck got ate
By a large invertebrate
I doubt I’ll ever get it back
How come this sort of thing happens to me?
An octopus ate my pickup truck.
I’m getting used to this kind of luck.
The truck it had an in line eight
Power steering, power break
The dang thing cost me a pretty buck.
How come this sort of thing happens to me?
You might think this is all a spoof
And that I’m just some kind of goof
When I saw its mouth agape
I decided to escape
Out through the sunlight on the roof
How come this sort of thing happens to me?
An octopus ate my pickup truck.
It’s in the sea, among the muck.
My truck, it was almost brand new
And painted with a shiny blue
I’d pull it up, but I’m sure it’s stuck
How come this sort of thing happens to me?
I miss that truck like I miss my youth
And know that I am speaking truth
It moved as fast as a hot rod
But was lunch for a cephalopod
How come this sort of thing happens to me?
An octopus ate my pickup truck
I saw that thing and I said yuck
That truck was like a friend to me
But now it’s deep down in the sea
I guess octopi will eat potluck
How come this sort of thing happens to me?
There’s one more thing to know you see
This thing didn’t affect just me
I guess it’s time for me to tell
My ex was in the cab as well
How come this sort of thing happens to me?
...happens to meeee.
