Headrests are considered part of a car seat. Generally, they are rounded bulky pieces of PU injected molding foam.
Sometimes, to put a leather or vinyl cover over this foam is not an easy task.
Fortunately, this foam is porous filled in with air and of course it can shrink and expand to recuperate its shape.
A domestic vacuum cleaner is useful to extract the air of foam piece and make it smaller. It allows us to easily adjust it into the vinyl or leather cover.
I would recommend the use of an industrial vacuum pump for your upholstery shop.
