Moon, a young owl finds himself stuck in a Christmas tree destined for Rockefeller Plaza. In his attempts to escape the city, Moon befriends a lost little girl named Luna. They embark on an adventure, discovering the magic of the holiday season.

Produced by Alfonso Cuarón and David Lowery, with Creative Design Supervisor Nicholas Ashe Bateman from Maere Studios.

MAERE STUDIOS developed the project over the course of a year — from early storyboards to full 3D animatics — designing the entire short film and its visual language. They created all sets, characters, and costumes, and supervised every aspect of lighting, compositing, and final visuals.
