In 1962, a couple with their son move to Derry, Maine just as a young boy disappears. With their arrival, very bad things begin to happen in the town.
For the series, MR. X delivered 133 VFX shots across 14 sequences, creating a total of 10,143 frames and building 12 digital assets to support the production.
The team worked on a variety of visual effects including environment extensions, digital set enhancements, atmospheric effects, and detailed compositing to help bring the dark and unsettling world of Derry to life. Their work focused on seamlessly integrating CG elements with live-action footage while maintaining the grounded and eerie tone of the series.
Through advanced compositing, lighting integration, and digital environment work, MR. X artists helped expand the visual scope of the show and enhance the supernatural atmosphere connected to the universe originally created by Stephen King.
