Description The ECL82, triode - output pentode isn't a valve/tube usually associated with guitar amplifiers. In this movie we demonstrate how this valve, cascaded by an EC90 pre amp valve, can be tweaked to alter the response of an amplifier that was previously used for testing purposes in a workshop environment. The 'tweaks' mainly refer to the high-pass filter network at the input stage. I'm not much of a guitarist but I try my best to play some power chords on my Hohner G3T guitar. The movie will mainly be of interest to guitar amplifier designers/builders and guitarists.
