NEONnoir is a hybrid point-and-click adventure/visual novel game for the Amiga 1200, and it's free.
I enjoyed playing through it, but it was a bit too easy. Never got stuck, was just straight forward what to do most of the time, and when I didn't know, I knew like 1 min after as I just quickly ran around talking to people (clicking through all dialogue until I noticed something new has happened), then loaded a saved state and continued with the new stuff I learned.
I found a bug. The inventory button thingy at the bottom right corner can be clicked on the main menu and during the intro, even though its icon is not shown.
Seems like the developer wanted people to run it in NTSC, so one version had it forced to NTSC, but some people had issues with it because if they don't have a monitor that supports it, things would look weird (or whatever it was, only had a quick read), so he made new version where it's using the one the system is already using natively, and if someone wanted to switch between them, they had the option via ToolType.
Anyway, after I read that I thought maybe I should longplay this in NTSC, because I did find the music in the beginning sounding a bit slow, especially the time between the trumpets (like at 3:20). I mean, if that's how it's intended to sound, that's OK of course. But if I made the music I would have sped it up a bit. And I checked some clips of this game on YouTube and everyone ran it in PAL. So I listened to the music in an external music player and it plays at the same speed as PAL. So, I guess it's not really meant to be at NTSC speed. So, I decided on PAL (as usual).
There's a small jump at 37:54 as I used a savestate here and 3 of the frames (both video and audio ofc) got corrupted.

Crap game, but decent music IMO.
This game loads soooooo slow for some reason, and theres music during the loading, so I left all the loading in. Use the timestamps to skip them.
I found 3 different speeds of this game. One cracked version ran very slow (music too), another a bit faster. I use the .ipf version which ran the fastest. I didnt have NTSC toggled on, with it on it ran even faster (ofc).
Theres some sound glitches in all versions and emulator settings I tried. YouTube has a video of this game recorded straight from the original hardware and it has it too. But another video on YouTube that is emulated didnt seem to have it, dunno what version and stuff they might have used.
Anyway, the version recorded from the original hardware ran the slowest. I usually rip the music so see the intended speed, but the simple music ripper in the emulator didnt find a recognizable music format, so I didnt bother trying other ways. So went with the music/game speed this version has.

One of my favorite games as a kid. Played it a lot, and its fun both alone and with friends.
My plan was to get all artifacts with one hero, but as the game is quite slow, I just couldnt be bothered. Also didnt know they would give up. If Id known, I wouldnt have spent all that time on moving single units around which I planned on grouping up in various strategical places. Or maybe they surrendered because I reached a certain amount of troops? Dunno. Anyway, you could select to accept their surrender, which means you got control of all their lands, thus you become the Lord of Illuria, or decline surrender the game continues. The game is actually quite easy thanks to the save/load feature. You can save and load whenever you want. So, just save before a fight and load if you lose. But dont try to fight again as the outcome will always be the same. UNLESS you move some units around etc and then try it again, then the result could be different (yes, during the same turn). I sometimes did this, or just tried again next turn instead. You will see me skip moving my units sometimes and probably wondered why I didnt attack or move, when I had a bunch of moves left, well, the above explanation is why :). One example is at 04:30 where I show I have moves left, but wont search the place, the reason I searched the NEXT turn was the game wanted to give me TWO Wizards then, lol, but only one if I searched the previous turn.
The fights can be so silly. With one unit I can take over one of their cities that is guarded by 5+ units, or I could die without killing any of theirs. Its so random. My Wizards are apparently quite weak, as they most of the time lost a 1v1 fight against the weakest units, yet sometimes he could take out whole groups or cities.
If I wanted to play through this again, I would make boats early, as they took 10+ turns to make, and would be very useful later in the game, as walking across mountains with most units takes a lot of turns.
I found several versions (always try to get the latest one when I longplay a game): 1.0, 1.04, 2.0, 2.03, and 2.04. The one and only manual I could find seems to be from version 1.0 (makes sense). Forgot exactly which versions had which changes, but it was something like - first version lacked a HD install script, the second one (1.04) got it, but wasnt good enough so got an update in 2.0, but then removed in 2.03 (so no HD install script in 2.03), but apparently this version works if its copied from disk to HD, but first version wouldnt work that way, not even with assigns, or maybe it was 1.04 that didnt work from HD. Anyway, 2.03 is the reported final version (as seen on HoL), but theres a 2.04, which I read is just a hex edit (to change it from 2.03 to 2.04), but from what I noticed it has the HD install script back and its a fully working one. So someone (if it wasnt the devs who released 2.04, as that detail no one seem to know, that I could find anyway) added a proper HD install script and made it 2.04. The menu and pop-up menus had an update between 1.4 and 2.0. A new menu (Views) was added in the early 2.x versions that includes more options, one of which is Control where you can toggle on/off different things. I have no idea what Enhanced combat does (which is in Control), and its not covered in the manual as that one was made before the update, and couldnt find any info online, other than another one who also said he didnt know what it did, and he tried everything to see if he could notice a difference, which he couldnt.")

Was gonna record a bunch of Bomb Jack games in a row, but meh, this one sucked so hard, and so did some of the others I tried. Stupid controls etc, so I just did this one.
Some of the others after this one would have been: Bomb Jack Beer Edition, Bomb Jacky, Bomber Jack, Mighty BombJack.
During round 5 I noticed I couldnt reach all the bombs, so learned I could actually jump much higher by holding up. Could have been useful on the 4 previous levels, but they were easy enough anyway.
The levels repeat after round 15, so stopped the longplay on round 16. However, the round number goes up to 30, but then resets back to 1 on the next level.")

This is one of the hardest Amiga games Ive played. Sooooooo crazy difficult. I lost count of how many times I died. This game was such a chore to get through, even when using savestates. Theres one million ways to die.
Still tho, despite the difficulty, its a pretty good game. It looks pretty good and the music is great.
The ? on the main menu is a sneak preview of the next Kinetica/U.S. Gold monster game! (quoted from the manual)
I included just one of the deaths (as its my fav), instead of spending a lot of time trying to find all of them. Its included at the end of the video - followed by the game over screen.

Pretty impressive as it runs perfect even on an Amiga 500 with 1MB RAM.
