Hum and Flow: Patch Notes

Bummer: it sounds as though I overloaded my Zoom H2's mic input :-(. Unfortunately the line input is inoperable, so I have to use the mic input which isn't the best approach. I really should have checked my levels (again).
And still more patching with my smaller, Mutable Instruments-focused, case. Further experimentation, with a more ambient, simplistic melody approach. In this case I've started with a drone provided by Tides, and a melody provided by Rings. I've sequenced Rings' Structure parameter to provide some variety along the way.

This is actually a pretty simple patch though there are lots of cables in use. The number of cables is due to essentially one LFO (from Peaks) being attenuated, then multed ALL OVER THE PLACE. It's modulating Tides' wave parameters, Rings' parameters, Clouds' parameters, etc.
I’m not going to detail every single aspect of this patch since it truly is fairly simple, but the basic approach is as follows:
Drone: Used Tides as a drone on a fixed pitch. Wave parameters modulated as mentioned above. Tides is sent to Clouds for "decoration". High-pitched component is Ripples self-oscillating and tuned to a fixed pitch. The random pattern is the 1U Random’s T&H controlling the volume of Ripples via Veils.
Melody: Sequence Rings via the Meta-Seqencer (love this thing!). The sequence is 12 steps, but there aren't a lot of unique voltages set up, so the melody line is pretty sparse (Rings only triggers on note changes in "simple" mode). the Meta-Sequencer is set up in “song mode” so it modulates certain steps according to a preset pattern. It is *also* set up to slowly change the sequence over time, randomly. Additionally, used a channel of Peaks in sequencer mode to "sequence" Rings' Structure parameter. This is not active all the time. I adjust the Structure attenuverter at roughly 3:00 to activate this feature, and then again at about 8:00 to turn it back off (funny how fairly exact those times are, given I didn’t time anything).
Rings is in Sympathetic Strings alternate mode (Western Chords). I love this mode! Reverb on Rings is the cheap and cheerful 2hp Verb (Stereo reverb in 2hp? Crazy!).
Rhythm: A TipTop ONE sample triggered by the RCD, and Peaks in Drum mode (alternate) triggered by two different clock divisions of RCD being alternated by 2hp 3:1. This accounts for the variety in triggers there.
Elements and O+C are just sitting there looking pretty. I decided to try to be somewhat minimal :-)

Recorded on a Sony A6000 mounting a Leica 90mm Summicron-R. Audio recorded on a Zoom H2 using the mic input (the line input is busted). Video edited in Apple iMovie.
