My 3 Module Challenge submission for the Facebook "Colorado Modular Synth Society" group.

For this patch I sampled 10 seconds or so of commercial jazz release into Morphagene and broke that sample into several slices.
I used random CV (slewed and stepped) out of the Intellijel 1U Clock/Random to modulate the Organize, Slide, Gene, and Morph parameters. The related attenuverters were set pretty conservatively. Additionally, I sent smooth random to the Variospeed control, whose attenuverter was set very near to zero. I just wanted a bit of tape “wow/warble” to be apparent. It’s very subtle, perhaps too much so. Aside from the random modulation, I manually modulated as well.
The clock output of the 1U Clock/Random was sent to the Clock input of Morphagene. Tempo was pretty slow, probably 60-70bpm or so (?).
I sent the output of Morphagene into Clouds. Clouds was in regular granular mode (but with Parasite installed). Quality was set to low-quality stereo. Density and Texture were set pretty high, and I sent smooth random to the Size parameter. I manually wiggled Position and Blend and toggled Freeze on and off to create the background texture and have the background become foregound and vice-versa.
Finally I sent the output of Clouds to my output module. There I had a splitter with one side going to my headphones, and the other going to my digital recorder (Sony PCMD50 at max quality settings).
