A "poppier" tune than I normally do. Rings and Elements providing interwoven rhythm/melody lines, with Ripples providing bass, and Tides eventually weaving in with Rings and Elements.

O+C Quantermain driving all melody. Mixolydian mode on all channels.
Voice 1
Elements. Almost everything that can be modulated is modulated by Discrete Random from Chance, obviously with different attenuversion settings. Gate on /1. Space modulated by a channel of Batumi, allowing for visits to the "hard-left" side of this parameter, which produces some interesting rhythmic stuff (hard-left on Elements Space separates the excited from the resonator). Elements stereo outs on to 2hp Verb.
Voice 2
Rings. Brightness, Damping, Position all modulated by Batumi with different attenuversion settings. /1 and /2 gates from RCD fed into two channels of Doepfer A-150 (finally back in the case!) triggered on /6. That's 2 channels of 4 with gates being passed through. Makes for some nice variety. Rings stereo outs to Clouds in Parasite Looping delay mode. Freeze controlled by Batumi.
Voice 3
Bass by Ripples in self-resonating mode. Tried to make Shapeshifter work, but was having weird tuning issues. Pulled out hair and went to Ripples. Envelope by Mini-Slew, with modulation of "Shape" for longer and shorter notes (probably could have just used "Fall"). Ripples out to 2hp Delay for a bit of thickening.
Voice 4
"Harmonica" by Tides. Didn't mean for it to sound like a harmonica but that's how it strikes me (to be kind we'll call it a Lyle Mays voice :-)). /2 and /8 gates from RCD fed to WMD Tool-Box sequential switch triggered on /7. Shape modulated by Smooth Random of Chance, Slope by Function, as is the basic Envelope. Smoothness modulated by Peaks LFO. Output to Clouds in Parasite Looping Delay mode. Freeze controlled by Batumi.
Percussion
Peaks Bass on /5 and "snare" on /3. TipTop ONE sample on Chance Random. All mixed through Intellijel 1U DigiTank "reverb".
Performance Notes
Tune starts out with Elements' Geometry and Rings' Structure in the extreme settings with Damping turned way down. This provides a percussive sound. In the intro, I manually (and poorly) move Elements to a harmonic setting of Geometry, followed fairly quickly by the same move for Rings. I manually Move Rings Damping and Brightness to a higher level. For the remainder of the tune I "ride" the Damping of both Rings and Elements as I feel it, though both are already modulated (to the left).
The end is poorly done. I tried to time to a resolving note, but failed horribly. Cut me some slack because this was take 6 in actual recording mode (who knows how many development takes I did).
I did a final, and better (IMO) performance right after this, but managed not to capture video. I've uploaded that performance to SoundCloud.
