Today, I wake up in Casablanca and wait for 3 hours at the train station for Scott. Once he arrives, we catch a train and head to Rabat, the capital of Morocco. We head straight to our riad and discover very quickly how beautiful it is. Once we've enjoyed our tea and marveled at our room, we head out to eat dinner and explore the Medina. Then we discover a beautiful oceanside cemetery and get sprayed by the ocean mist from the crashing Atlantic waves. We walk down the coast to an abandoned military bunker where we are shown around by a drunk local who also gives us a short history lesson of the bunker. We then head back to the Medina to eat a little more and enjoy some fresh sugar cane juice before heading back to the riad for the night.
