My 1.0 Purist creator contest had a TON of fantastic entries! This showcase shows off 5 of them, as well as my thoughts on each levels pros and cons:

0:00 Mage Arena by SebTheNose | 135643145
Pros: This level has a fantastic idea of making a mage bossfight in 1.0! The visuals support this general theme very well and help illustrate magic. The sync is also incredible here!
Cons: While the gameplay for the most part is very well done, there are a couple spots in the beginning cube that feel a bit difficult for the rest of the rating. There are also some empty spots at the beginning and the end (with the ending gp being uninteresting).

1:10 Dino Land by NnolokK | 136198176
Pros: This level pays homage to the first art level in the game "Trip to Jurassic Park". The landscape designed is perfect here, simple and accurately serving an environment for some seriously sick dinosaur art throughout! It plays well with some really nicely done music sync!
Cons: Because of its heavy inspiration from a different level, Dino Land did not get its full creativity points. Its gameplay additionally while easy to read/play felt a bit on the simple side and could potentially come off as a bit boring.

1:57 Quaver by xLoafY | 136194532
Pros: As a graduate with a music degree I was VERY appreciative of how Quaver went about its ideas. xLoafY did a really nice job fitting in the music notation theme throughout, even designing gameplay around Cant Let Go's melody put on a giant musical staff! Sync was incredibly done (as I would expect with a level about music) and the music note visuals I felt worked very well for the general theme.
Cons: I actually enjoyed the gameplay more than I thought I would in this one, but there's no denying that it may have been a bit too difficult for this contest (where 9* was the max). I also disliked the heavy usage of the default 1.0 block (4-sided lines) especially in the beginning and end. In my opinion it made the level look a bit amateurish in its block designs and took away from the otherwise strong visual appeal.

3:20 Verdant by Vlyort | 136080960
Pros: I really enjoyed the general tree-top theme in this one! It was simple but visually effective while supporting gameplay readability. Speaking of, the gameplay in this is (mostly) fantastic! It was a blast getting to play through this level several times. Sync was also decently well done and well supported the music.
Cons: Unfortunately there are a few blind jumps that potentially could ruin gameplay experience for some. Additionally, the block designs throughout this level leave a lot to be desired (and again use the default block a bit too much for my liking).

4:28 Zenith by RawTOast1722 | 136855611
Pros: While a bit simpler in its designs, Zenith is a fantastic gameplay-based classic-styled 1.0 level! Seriously fun to play and the structuring really works in its favor. Decent sync and strong background colors also help support the general ideas present.
Cons: Visually (apart from the banger ship designs!) I think the level could have done a bit more, especially since some sections/transitions feel a bit empty in space usage. Perhaps a bit stronger sync presence could also carry the energy!
