It's totally not 1 AM what are you talking about *COUGH*
I already said VALIN has a bad influence on me.
So yeah I shitted this out in like 1 and a half hours. I wanted to shit it out in half an hour, but knowing me it became more than that. It technically isn't edited on the 5th anymore but shhh the day doesn't end before I didn't go to sleep so I'M FINE AREN'T I?? XD
Anyway, this season made Amalia SUFFER. Actually, it made everyone suffer. BUT AMALIA'S SUFFERING MADE ME CRY NON-STOP --- AND I LOVED IT. I actually wanted to keep in the beatdrop-part and edit all the tearing scenes with her and not just the ones with Yugo BUTTTTT I realized I couldn't do that or I'd sit 5 hours here (again). Therefore I shortened it and I will make sure to edit all of Amalia's suffering another time. But I'm happy I got to include the "selfish" part with Armand, because I think that's what made Amalia cry. Yugo, aside from saying he's not sure if he loves her (which she just put her hands over her heart), said that she was selfish and doesn't realize other people's pain and struggles. And she does, she really does - she just has a lot of things going on herself and I think it reminded her of her own doubts and what Armand said in her nightmare-setting, so that's why I edited these two scenes together! Man, am I explaining my own scene choice? XD
Anyway. I should sleep. Like. NOW X'D

This past weekend I went to my first convention, AniNite 2018! [...]
And well! It was very, very exhausting. I came home every day at like 6-10 pm and fell asleep almost imediately. I managed to get two keychains with Izuku and Ochako and one FMA poster! Plus, a few photos of cool cosplays which I dont want to share just in case the people have a problem with that! I also made a picture together with a cosplay of Violet Evergarden, which was absolutely sweet and I smiled like a dork ^///^
SO! I entered the AMV Contest at said convention, and because I felt like I was fit for the hard level I said Id sign up for that and well, I fell on my face. HARD.
I dont know where I placed according to the jury, but I wasnt in the top 3 of 11 candidates, which is of course not to say I was last, but well, in the public vote, before I shared it with some friends to maybe save my poor pride, I was second to last and only when my friend voted, was I third-to-last.
Not to say I felt like I should have won, the entries were all absolutely beautiful, but it still kind of hurt and Im kinda frustrated. [...]
[...] But I still like my video. I still liked the other videos, of course! [...]
After my video played on the convention I heard somebody say Damn behind me and it made my day honestly!! :3

This is a slightly improved (hopefully pfft-) version of my guest entry for the Indigo Team Inside IC 5: NO SLEEP.
The original theme was to edit with no/minimal effect usage. I wasnt happy with the lack of flow in my entry so this v2 has more zooms/pans, more black flashes, more fades (a feedback i got from one of the judges), some blurs, and some timing adjustments I made while going through the whole thing again.
Im glad I got to edit Princess Tutu after all this time hehe~
