Time to deck out my Christmas present! It's a Manfrotto video tripod setup, which has an option to attach accessories to the sides of the head.

I decided to go big with a GeChic 10" USB powered monitor, and that means I'm on my own to rig up a bracket to hold it. Never braised aluminum before, but I think it turned out just fine. Bernz-O-Matic AL3 rods and a propane torch is all it takes.

Here's a link to the monitor I ordered (although the price is up 25% for some reason...): newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA0V114A8790
