The thrill is back, and so are we! Join the Joneses as we dive into the magic of Alton Towers’ Opening Day for the 2025 season. From the eager anticipation at the gates to the jaw-dropping excitement of the new attraction 'Toxicator', this vlog captures every moment of the adventure.
We started the weekend with a stay at the Alton Towers Splash Landings hotel on the friday night, and may have had a tipple or two with some of our awesome friends @GingerAndBrown @loopslapbars @TheCoasterCastle @itsastakesything
We then made our way onto the park on opening day, and had an awesome ride on the best rollercoaster in the world (imo) 'Nemesis' but then the day started unravelling.... ops on Nemesis were not great and we saw a few trains leaving with empty seats and rows... then there were many many ride breakdowns... :-(
Finally the proverbial poo hit the fan shall we say... or in towers case under their brand new ride... when there was a burst sewage pipe.....
Fair play to the Towers staff for getting the ride back open... just a shame it was after we decided to leave the park... and after towers stated the ride would be closed until the sunday... not great communication towers.. :-(
All being said though it was still an awesome day with a lot of friends on park including the awesome @LoveTwoExplore and @BenandHolliesTPA and it was definitely a memorable one... maybe not for the right reasons though :-)
